Discover your vocation during an inspiring weekend at Klooster Westerhûs!

The Protestant Church in the Netherlands invites you to participate in a special weekend on the occasion of Vocation Sunday on May 11, 2025. This weekend offers a unique opportunity to reflect on your possible vocation in the Protestant Church.

What to expect.

In-depth Reflection: Under the guidance of Rev. Hinne Wagenaar, monastic minister and leader of the monastic community, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your vocation as a pastor, church worker, youth worker, diaconal worker or pioneer.
Experiencing Monastic Life: Live to the rhythm of the monastery, enjoy communal meals and experience communal life.
Professional Guidance: Various professionals from the church share their knowledge and experiences to help you discover your vocation.
Private room: You have your own room with shower and toilet. When booking together, two people can stay in one room.
Costs: Costs are borne by the Protestant Church in the Netherlands.

Theology students reflecting on their vocation
