That we know again, that we are made,
taken, formed, from dust of the earth.

That we may know again,
That Thou hast given Thy breath to us;
Breath into us.
Breath into us, fragile and brittle -
jars of earth,
That we may know again, That Thou art forming us.

That we know again that we are made.
That we know again,
that we are related: rocks and grass,
people and sky, stars and seed,
hippopotamus and sparrow.

That we know again, that we are made.
That we know again, that we return again,
back into the dust.

That we may know again that we are made.
That we may be joined to the work of your hands.
