You are always welcome at Nijkleaster. At monastery Westerhûs plenty of space for parking bicycles and cars. You can also charge your car electrically. A bus comes as far as the village of Hilaard. We can possibly pick you up from the train in Mantgum, Deinum or Leeuwarden.

When there is an activity in the church of Jorwert, it is sometimes difficult to find a place for your car in the village. Therefore, herewith some tips and directions.

1. Try to carpool as much as possible.
2. If possible, come by bicycle.
3. If you come by train: from Mantgum station it is a two kilometer walk to Jorwert. There is a bus service from Mantgum station to Jorwert.
4. It is inconvenient for the residents of Jorwert when the parking spots near their houses are always occupied. Therefore, we have had a parking map made. Please park in the purple parking lanes as much as possible.
5. The parking lane at the entrance to the village (south side) is not paved. There you can just park in the grass.
6. Under no circumstances park on the sidewalk!
