Nijkleaster is present at the Floriade 2022 in Almere. Twice a month we will provide a celebration there and a stroll from the Tiny Church (small church) that is built on the Floriade. The Floriade will be open from April 14 through October 9, 2022. The themes of the (agricultural) exhibition are sustainable building and devising solutions to make our cities and towns more fun, beautiful and sustainable. There is a multitude of sustainable living ideas on display as well as beautiful gardens. The "whole world" is there. It is well worth going to see! 

Part of the Floriade has been set up for Fruitful City. This is an initiative of twenty local churches in Almere, with one and the same goal: to showcase the beauty of nature and share the story of God's creation with Floriade visitors.

Every other week a team from Nijkleaster goes to Floriade to host a celebration in Nijkleaster style between 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. and then we walk through the primeval forest at Floriade. We get the inspiration for the texts from the sculptures "Faithfulness" and "Gentleness" that are in the garden of Fruitful City.

Nijkleaster is present at the Floriade on: June 7 and 23, July 5 and 21, August 2, 18 and 30, and September 15 and 27, each time from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. You are welcome to join in the celebration and kleaster stroll there as well, and of course to view the entire Floriade.
