Giving hands and feet to the faith, that is what drove Johannes van den Akker, abbot and co-founder of the Kleiklooster in the Amsterdam Bijlmer, to develop his desire for 'hospitality in practice' into a living community with shelters for people in need. He talked about it during the lecture on Saturday, November 16, in the church of Jorwert, at the invitation of Kloostergemeente Nijkleaster.
