Sunday services are organized by the Protestant monastic community of Nijkleaster-Westerwert. Unless otherwise noted, they take place at the Redbadtsjerke, in the center of the village of Jorwert, and begin at 9:30 a.m. The regular monthly schedule for the services is as follows. Any exceptions will always be noted. The services are multilingual, with a special focus on Frisian. Most hymns are sung simultaneously in Dutch and Frisian.
Fixed structure of the program per month:
- 1st Sunday of the month: Sunday celebration
- 2nd Sunday of the month: Circle of Attention Morning Prayer
(Circle of Attention) - 3rd Sunday of the month: Sunday celebration
- 4th Sunday of the month: LYTS&grut service with the children (10:30 a.m.)
- If there is a 5th Sunday in the month, we celebrate together
with the church congregations in the region.
