Ways of financial support:
A significant amount of funding is still required to realize the mission of the Monastic Community and Westerhûs Monastery. To this end, we are largely dependent on financial support from individuals, the government, businesses, and institutions. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in enabling us to continue our mission. A one-time donation to the Monastic Community can be made via this link.
Donating to the Compass Fund
Do you support Nijkleaster's idea that everyone is welcome to participate in everything we offer? Then make a payment via this link to the Compassion Fund. Your donation will enable someone else to participate too!
Bequest
You can also include a bequest in your will: I bequeath to 'Nijkleaster' .......... (name an amount or property). Read more about bequests here.
Periodic Donation
You can also support Nijkleaster through a Periodic Donation. This means that you commit to supporting us for five years with a fixed amount. The advantage is that this donation is fully tax deductible. You can set up a Periodic Donation by filling out this form with a form for direct debit and sending it to us once completed.
Since January 1, 2014, this can be done without the involvement of a notary, and therefore without any costs. Here you will find a full explanation of periodic donations, including calculation examples.
