We have nine guest rooms. During your stay this is your own place, where you can retreat, rest and enjoy a wide view of the Frisian countryside. The rooms were inaugurated in 2023 and have a simple, light and modern look. And like the whole concept of Klooster Westerhûs, you will also find local, sustainable and used items.

Good beds to sleep well

Each has room has two single beds. The box-spring beds are from the Frisian bed maker Avek with hotel-quality linens and light, synthetic comforters and pillows on them. And there's a bed-reading lamp.

Warmth in the room

The room is heated with an infrared panel on the ceiling so you experience direct heat when you are in the room. Furthermore, the bathroom can also be heated.

Personal care

In the bathroom, in addition to the sink and toilet, there is a good shower. The bathroom comes standard with two towels, washcloth, guest towels and bath mat. If more is needed during your stay, it can be replenished.

At Klooster Westerhus there is one room suitable for people who need extra space. This room has spacious wet room containing handles around the toilet and a shower chair. This is a room suitable for disabled people.

The room also has a spacious hall with coat rack and a place to put the suitcase. In the guest room you will find a spacious desk with a lamp and in the corner a comfortable chair and reading lamp.

Bedspread for extra warmth

The uniqueness of each room is found in the bedspread. These bedspreads are all handmade by mothers/uncles/beppees of volunteers and monastics and carry years of diligence.
