Target
The purpose of the Compassiefonds is to contribute financially to the costs of staying at the monastery It Westerhûs and of participating in the activities of Nijkleaster, for those people who cannot pay the costs (in full).
Revenue
Het Compassiefonds verkrijgt zijn financiële middelen uit donaties aan de Stichting Nijkleaster – Westerhûs.
Request
Applications concern only a contribution to the costs of staying at Klooster Westerhûs and for the activities of Nijkleaster.
Applications can only be submitted by fully filling out the form on the Nijkleaster website.
Review
Aanvragen die worden toegekend, leiden er toe dat (een deel van) de door de aanvrager te betalen kosten rechtstreeks door het Compassiefonds aan Stichting Nijkleaster – Westerhûs worden voldaan.
Aanvragen worden vertrouwelijk behandeld.
If an application is rejected, reasons will always be given by the Compass Fund committee. There is no appeal against a rejection decision. However, the applicant can submit a new application for another activity of Nijkleaster or another date of stay at Klooster Westerhûs.
Mocht een activiteit van Nijkleaster of de verblijfscapaciteit van Klooster Westerhûs onverhoopt vol zijn, dan wordt de inschrijving verder niet verwerkt en zal de bijdrage uit het fonds op dat moment niet kunnen worden toegekend.
When applying, the applicant clearly states what she/he can pay for herself/himself.
Compass Fund Committee
De commissie voor het Compassiefonds bestaat uit drie personen, alle drie direct betrokken bij Nijkleaster.
Accountability
Het Compassiefonds legt jaarlijks verantwoording af aan het bestuur van Nijkleaster.
The board of Nijkleaster accounts annually to the committee of the Compass Fund for the income acquired through earmarked gifts.
