The last weekend of October, the weekend when summer time changes to winter time, is the Day of Silence. Activities are organized in all kinds of places to pay attention to silence. In the outside world, in nature for example, as well as in our inner world. The two are closely connected.

Silent walk Oct. 26

We will join in and hold a silence walk from monastery Westerhûs on Saturday, October 26. We start at 3:00 pm with a cup of tea and leave at about 3:15 pm for the silence walk. Around 16:30 we will be back at Westerhûs. There is hot chocolate and opportunity to share experiences. At 5:10 pm there is the opportunity to join the afternoon prayer at the monastery.
