1000th Visitor Exhibition
Thousandth visitor at exhibition
"Jentsje Popma - artist with a mission"

On Wednesday, June 30, the thousandth visitor could already be welcomed to the Great Church in Leeuwarden. This is barely two weeks after the opening of the exhibition of works by Jentsje Popma.
The thousandth visitor is Mrs. Rigt Struiksma from Leeuwarden. She is a member of the Jacobijner district congregation and has been a member of the church council for many years. Coincidentally, her grandson Erik Struiksma now lives in one of the apartments in Jentsje Popma's former studio on Potmargewal.
In the photo, Alex Riemersma, chairman of the Stifting Nijkleaster, hands Mrs. Rigt Struiksma flowers and the book "Jentsje Popma - artist with a mission." In the background Rob Tigchelaar, sexton-keeper of the Great Church in Leeuwarden.
